Well Green is definately the flavour of the moment.  So let's take a look at another initiative to save the environment.  This article looks at a simple way in which engines could be modified to be more fuel efficient at low speeds and when idling.  And considering how many cars spend quite a lot of time doing that while stuck in traffic this seems like quite a good idea to me.
