Suzuki Motor Corp will engineer and build a new "world car" in India, its chief executive said on Tuesday, underlining the importance of the fast-growing market to the company.
The car will be manufactured by Maruti Suzuki India Ltd in which Suzuki owns 54.2 percent, and the car will be sold globally

Tata`s Rs 1 lakh car has been termed one of the trend setters of 2007. As one of the worlds cheapest cars it finds a place in the list of "Most Important Trends for 2007"
