There are no words to describe our time with Severn Lodge. Ryan in the dining room is absolutely amazing. Perfect family getaway. Setting is gorgeous. Staff is wonderful. The food is amazing.

Nature is all around you here, kayaks and canoes as well as other water craft are readily available for guests. At Severn Lodge, guests have the exclusive use of the Severn’s many exciting resort activities and extensive recreational facilities. Base of Peak 8 Live Camera. The Lodge went out of their way to make our dinner and birthday celebrations something special. This was our 3rd year there and cannot wait to go back next year.
Rooms are very nice, standard cottage feel, but slightly larger than other ones I’ve stayed in!
Our guests have mentioned they would be going back as well. This is the place to be, pet friendly (which is a must for us), affordable, memorable and we've made friends for life. Staff really are just amazing!
There is so much to see and do at Severn Lodge that guests need never leave the resort property to experience the Ontario resort vacation of a lifetime. :), Great location, the staff is amazing! Lots of fun. Just as you're stressed for the big day, she calms you down.

Lakeside Recreation Building – stone fireplace, piano, game tables, etc, Games Room – table tennis, air hockey, table shuffleboard, etc, Outboard Fishing Boat/Motor Rentals * – gasoline and bait, Fishing – large/small mouth bass, walleye, northern pike, muskie, pan fish, Boat Cruises * – aboard our 37’ vintage mahogany motor launch. You won't be disappointed! Would gladly come back to stay! The stuff is super friendly. And I would recommended to anyone visit Severn Lodge! Kids program is great, although on the Victoria Day weekend there was no staff supervision in the toddler room; disappointing for our 3-year-old whose older sister was busy with the older kids' full day of activities.
They want to go again and soon. more, I recently had my wedding at Severn Lodge and would HIGHLY recommend this resort for anyone considering a wedding or large function, as well as for any other weekend getaway. The soul of Breckenridge Grand Vacations is creating smiles!
We were also very happy with the quality and variety of the meal options and the cleanliness of the modest accommodations. You will not be disappointed. Severn Lodge is the best vacation we hve ever had. The bathroom was in one of the rooms which was strange.
Gorgeous place. Food was great, but did find some of the sausage was a little undercooked at breakfast. I sent my daughter in law and three grandkids here for a much needed four day treat. Food was great, but did find some of the sausage was a little undercooked.

As I noted in a previous review, some of the buildings clearly need a little maintenance (eg: cabin doors in rough shape not closing properly), but there's some sign of improvements since our last visit two years ago. Enjoyed myself on a Muskoka chair, though I could not do much due to an injury prior to going. Staff was marvelous. We had a great time and we highly recommend for families with young children.
We paid less for our resort wedding than friends did for one night.

We had an awesome 3 night stay at the lodge. It was like being in a Carribean Resort in Ontario. Staff seems to go out of their way to be helpful... place was clean and appeared to be well looked after. Little bit noisy sometimes due to close railway,, but everything else is perfect. Beautiful property.

What an amazing place to stay. And there's so much to do, highly recommended! The price, all fair! He is so personable and genuine, really made our experience terrific. Some positions are currently held by permanent employees and the Breckbill family, while others are seasonal in nature. Attended a wedding there and it was the most gorgeous ceremony I’ve been to. The activities and programing for the kids in the Kids Club were great. Kids program excellent. The venue is loaded with exceptionally kind, helpful and cheerful staff. Food is delicious, rooms are quaint but cozy. Helpful staff. We ate there about 5 separate occasions & were never let down. Our lakefront lodge features all the amenities one would expect to find at a first class Muskoka resort. The server on our first day was a little cold /robotic but maybe he was new and our group a little forward and he may not be used to that! A little pricey but you get what you pay for. ENTER TO WIN A WEEK AT THE GRAND LODGE ON PEAK 7, $2,000 cash and MORE! This is not a "party" place but is probably one of the most relaxing Muskoka experiences I have ever had. There is nothing like Muskoka water. We got married the same weekend as the royal wedding, but really the staff made it seem like we were the royalty. Whether you want to boat, fish, water ski, mountain bike, play tennis, take a Sea Plane tour, or just relax on the beach, a great Muskoka holiday is yours at Severn Lodge. The screened porches on the water are a great spot to relax after a busy day on the resort. The food is phenomenal! Beautiful peaceful n tranquil!!!!

So many beautiful memories and feelings from this place. It's not the cheapest place, but everything - and I mean everything - was stellar. Our wedding day was perfect thanks to this resort.
All the linens and towels were new or nearly new.
They were clean & if we ever needed anything they were a phone call away. The rest of the food tasted great. The cottage I stayed in was a two bedroom, 1 bath. This is our second visit, and we've returned because of the great location, food, and entertainment for all ages. You might also want to spend the money at the beginning of the summer to have a bull dozer come in and clean it out. I would definately reccommend this to anyone. Love it up here the clean air the tranquility of this lovely body of water (Gloucester pool) seeing the wildlife and going for hikes this truly is Gods country and at Severn lodge you get to experience all this and more. Thank you to everyone at Severn Lodge. As well, Shelby who is in charge of water rentals came and helped us even though it was her day off and was so kind about it! In May we went to Severn Lodge for the long weekend, and actually worked with Melissa from the lodge to plan an elopement wedding. Do yourself a huge favour and make time to treat yourself.
