I was wrong about the Dreamliner ý it was all simulated

 It's all a big game- a few months - who cares - a few million- chicken feed

In my column a couple of weeks ago, I said that I had switched on my TV and watched the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner flying.      

The there is the  Dreamliner delay

this storey has been running for a while with claims and denials flying thick and fast (flying was probably the wrong choice of word to use) - Ultimately, a few more months, a few more million dollars - who cares as long as they get it right and it doesn't fall out of the sky.

and another thing, - I'll bet the Chinese are licking there lips and feverishly working away on their plans for a plane - almost certainly it will be on budget and on time - it might fall out of the sky but I'm sure that would be considered a minor issue in the graeter scheme of things

I think the Chinese will find designing and manufacturing a plane is a lot more work than copying an auto - the ramifications of not getting "it right" are also much greater
