BoringInteresting

man,  woman who cares as long as the job is done - Like the Nike people say - Just Do It

Science Daily — Have you ever felt outnumbered ? Like there are just not that many people like you around? We’ve all felt outnumbered in one situation or another and walking into a situation in which you sense the possibility of being ostracized or isolated can be quite threatening.

It's difficult to argue with the facts, there are not a lot of women in Engineering and Manufacturing (in the West). It has nothing to do with ability - everything to do with perception of a career path - Just look at the Soviet Union after the second World War - their industry was dominated by women in all capacities, especially Engineering - admitidly it was a "needs must" situation as so many of the male population had been killed in the war, but the point is that they filled all of the positions and did an excellent job. I believe that you will find lots of females are still very keen to be Engineers because of the accepted career paths i.e. Engineering is a career for men and women
