 hurry up and develope the alternatives - wait a minite,  they are already there - as the price of oil goes up - the alternatives start too look very attractive

 GLOBAL oil prices surged to fresh highs overnight as traders watched a new storm in the Gulf of Mexico, with Brent crude in London topping $US80 a barrel for the first time.

And I wonder if those storms have had any influence from global warming. It would be somewhat ironic if the storms stopping oil production were caused by the actual burning of said oil
