Power from SA Pig Farm Effluent
Clipped to the Drawing Board by John Chadwick  
Agriculture company Cargill plans to convert pig waste into electricity at a farm north of Johannesburg, it said on Wednesday.

The technology, which was being funded by Cargill’s environmental finance group, allowed the methane from pig effluent to be captured and converted into power.
